Canelli
For two weeks in June the streets of Canelli are animated by ancient characters in the historical recalling of the 1613 siege. There are guns and cannon shots, defenders and assailants' shouts and then the "Besieged Dinner" and the "Victory Lunch" during which waiters and waitresses wearing costumes from the epoch serve delicious wines and foods of the seventeenth century.
